Southcoates Officers are working closely with partner agencies in relation to an elderly male who has been a target of financial abuse.
Action taken:
We have been supporting him with security measures and regular Police and Council visits.

To reduce the demand on Public Services including Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Humberside Police, we are tackling issues with a repeat caller using up valuable time on the 999 system.
Action taken:
We are currently looking to investigate him for wasting police time and misuse of the 999 system. If you need to contact 999 in an emergency please do not hesitate do so. Any other enquiries call 101 for police or 111 for NHS
