Issued 06 August 2026
There have been a number of reports of ASB in the Belmont Street area of Ashby. As a team we have raised a multi-agency plan to tackle this issue and a number of the young people have been interviewed for a range of criminal offences.
Safer neighbourhoods have installed a CCTV camera in the area to act as a deterrent and also for evidence gathering purposes.
A number of ASB referrals have been made and visits conducted to the young people and their parents/carers to discuss their behaviours and the impact on the community.
NPT will continue regular patrols of the area and will continue to work with a multi agency approach where necessary.
