Neighbour Disputes
Issued 19 January 2024
We are aware of the impact long-running neighbour disputes can have, especially on people’s emotional and mental well-being. We are committed to helping the community by working closely with involved parties, and our partner agencies, to alleviate the upset caused. We want to take an early intervention approach to prevent such disputes escalating, and establish mediation for all involved.
We are continuing to make an active effort to respond to concerns from residents throughout various areas in Waltham, liaising with Navigo and housing agencies to ensure the correct action is taken, and vulnerabilities of individuals identified and accurately assessed.
We would encourage you to contact your local team if you want advice and we will do our very best to either assist you ourselves or by referring/signposting you to the agency best placed to do so.

Anti-Social Behaviour
Issued 19 January 2024
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) is always a priority for us at the Neighbourhood Team, with recent reports of ASB in Waltham.
Repeatedly impacted locations include; Fairway, High Street and Kirkgate.
We are aware of the impact anti-social behaviour can have on people and communities blighted by the inconsiderate behaviour of others. We work very closely with our partners to resolve problems and ensure those people engaging in anti-social behaviour are challenged and held to account.
We are keen to hear from anyone that have concerns about anti-social behaviour and encourage people to report via 101, our non-emergency contact number.
