Welton Waters attracts large groups of children and young adults to the lake, using it for swimming and cooling off in the summer months.
Officers have already attended and spoken to the owners and they have their own measures in place and happy for us to have our police drop ins to deter swimming when unsupervised/using the facilities provided by Welton WatersTo engage and educate persons from swimming in open water/cold water during the summer

Action taken:
In the coming months the neighbourhood policing team will be looking to address ASB across the Dale and Hunsley Ward. There will be a focus on general ASB, particularly on the Burrs Field, Brough and local parks, paying attention to the misuse of e-bikes and underage drinking.

Enquiries continue to identify youths responsible for ASB in Swanland. E-bikes have also been seen in the area, the riders of which will be dealt with in due course.

Parking on Zig-Zags outside School.
Action taken:
This is a common issue at many of our schools. We continue to work with headteachers and their staff, as well as Road Safety Officers and Parish Councils, to stop this potentially dangerous practice.

Identifying / Targeting drug dealers in the area
Action taken:
We continue to review and act on drugs intelligence. For operational and data protection reasons we are unable to give specific details of locations / premises or persons that we are currently investigating. We have been working with other agencies to tackle individuals of concern linked to drug misuse. Several individuals have been identified and our enquiries are continuing.
We ask that you report any concerns around drugs misuse that you have. You may have information that adds to an ongoing concern, and this can really help when we apply for Warrants.
