Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) plays a vital role in tackling many of the local issues that matter to you. They are out in your area every day, and always available to offer crime prevention advice or for you to raise concerns with.
Each NPT consists of a dedicated Sergeant, Police Constables (PCs) and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), all under the command of an Inspector. While they may be the ones you see the most, the NPTs do not work alone. They are supported by staff and officers from across the whole Humberside Police force area, and they work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide the local policing priorities for the area and find useful, long-term solutions.
Our approach is shaped by four key themes: We protect vulnerable people and keep people safe; We are out in your communities, visible, listening and working with you to deliver the services you need; We successfully tackle crime and ASB; We will be there when you need us.
Repeated use of off road motorbikes in the Messingham and Ridge area.

NPT are receiving multiple reports about off road motorbikes and electric bikes being used by adults and children in Messingham and Ridge. The reports have spread to local farmlands where farmers are reporting the motorbikes going on their land.
Action – Intelligence gathering has been conducted around where the bikes are being used and stored. Along with best times and days to catch riders on them. High visibility disruptions patrols have started and will continue. NPT will continue to do high visibility patrols around the area to try and target the riders. We will be looking to take positive action against those using off road motorbikes under section 59 or traffic legislation offences. Rural task force has been made aware and will continue to conduct high visibility patrols.

Drink / Drug drivers around Messingham and Ridge - Road safety

We are receiving several intel and calls regards motor vehicles been driven by individuals under the influence or drink and drugs and also driving with valid licenses and insurance.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team will actively target drivers where we believe they are committing road traffic offences.
We ask the community to continue to contact us to report any information you have that may assist with identifying drivers putting other's at risk by committing road traffic offences.
This can be done by ringing 101, contacting your local Neighbourhood Policing Team or through Crimestoppers.
