The local policing team are aware of reports of drug dealing across the ward area. Officers are making enquiries to try and identify those responsible and be out on the streets as much as possible to try and deter and catch those responsible.
A lot of our information comes from members of the public and this really needs to continue to help us try and address this issue. Please continue to repot any concerns regarding drugs, locations you are aware of drug dealing taking place, addresses or even those responsible.
This can be done anonymously via the Humberside Police website or via Crimestoppers

Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO)
Issued 26 August 2026
A Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) is a tool introduced in 2014 under the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Police Act 2014.
Humberside Police and Hull City Council will use the powers of the PSPO to tackle antisocial behaviour in public areas.
The purpose of a PSPO is to improve the quality of life in our communities. It restricts or prohibits certain activities in public areas which could have a negative impact on the community.
Within a PSPO area individuals are prohibited from:
Making any verbal, non-verbal or written request for money, donations, or goods so as to cause or likely cause antisocial behavior.
Loiter, sit or lay on the floor, including doorways or around cash machines, in a manner causing or likely to cause antisocial behavior.
Consume alcohol in any public place anywhere within the PSPO area, or be in possession of any open vessel containing or purporting to contain alcohol.
The University, Orchard Park and the Beverley Newland Wards are all subject to the conditions of the PSPO. Humberside Police and Hull City Council will work together to enforce the PSPO and tackle any issues of anti social behaviour and continue to make every effort to improve the quality of life for the residents in our communities.
