Your Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) plays a vital role in tackling many of the local issues that matter to you. They are out in your area every day, and always available to offer crime prevention advice or for you to raise concerns with.
Each NPT consists of a dedicated Sergeant, Police Constables (PCs) and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), all under the command of an Inspector. While they may be the ones you see the most, the NPTs do not work alone. They are supported by staff and officers from across the whole Humberside Police force area, and they work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide the local policing priorities for the area and find useful, long-term solutions.
Our approach is shaped by four key themes: We protect vulnerable people and keep people safe; We are out in your communities, visible, listening and working with you to deliver the services you need; We successfully tackle crime and ASB; We will be there when you need us.
The local Neighbourhood policing team continue to receive reports of off-road motorcycles, Surron's and quadbikes riding around Eastmount Playing Fields and Longhill Playing Fields also on the sports pitches and hills, this disrupting sporting events, dog walkers and other persons using the facilities.
Issued 05 October 2026
The local policing team are now conducting regular patrols in the area now, and will take positive action to offenders. If you see any of these nuisance motorbikes go into any addresses please report via 101 and ourselves and the council can take positive action against any occupants.

Drug Dealing
Issued 05 October 2026
By tackling drugs at the source we can reduce the overall impact on the local community and reduce the demand on your local Police, freeing officers up to deal with the issues you want us to tackle such as burglaries, anti-social behaviour, and violence.
Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team benefit from information and intelligence from the public to be able to identify persons, vehicles, addresses and prime locations where drugs are being used, dealt, grown. This information gathering can used to deal with offenders positively and apply for Drugs Warrants.
