As we approach the half-term school holidays, along with the darker and colder evenings, we anticipate a spike in anti-social behaviour across the ward area. Reports indicate that incidents occur throughout the community, with recurring issues including large groups congregating in public spaces, vandalism, littering, occasional intimidation and nuisance motor vehicles.
We will be targeting our ASB hot-spot areas with high visibility patrols, targeted action and multi-agency working with our partners including council, housing, local businesses and our ward councillors. Our ongoing efforts focus on prevention, education and partnership working to ensure that ASB is effectively managed and that the area remains a safe and attractive place to live, work and visit.
If you experience ASB in your area then please report this via our non-emergency number 101 or via an online report through the Humberside Police website. These reports help local officers identify trends and allocate resources effectively and to be able to take appropriate and positive action.
