Officers are appealing for information following reports of a road traffic collision on the A166 at Fridaythorpe on Sunday (24 May 2026).
You may have heard of ‘hotspot’ policing which involves targeting activities in our community where concerns have been raised by residents about crime in their area.
Road Safety - Snaith, Rawcliffe, Airmyn and surrounding villages (specifically near to school premises)

Complaints continue to be made around school pick up and drop off times regards parking and road safety. High visibility patrols, words of advice/engagement and continued work with the schools to reduce these issues going forward. Road Safety matters continue to be an issue in the more rural areas, covering everything from Speeding to Weight limits and through road congestion. All Neighbourhood Officers have had training and refresher training in the Pro Laser for speed enforcement and targeted patrols.
