Speed enforcement in rural villages
Issued 02 May 2026
We have completed multiple Speed Enforcement events throughout last year and as a result multiple drivers have been dealt with. This is an ongoing project. Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to work with Parish Councils and ERYC Traffic Management, with the aim of changing the behaviour of some road users who drive above the speed limit through our villages.

School Parking Issues
Issued 02 May 2026
Parking on yellow lines / zig-zag markings outside schools is a potentially dangerous practice which also causes congestion. We continue to work in conjunction with Headteachers and their staff, as well as ERYC Road Safety officers to address the issue.
