At the present time Humberside Police are able to provide a single entry route to become a Police Constable, The PCEP - Police Constable Entry Programme.
Via this entry route we offer both Uniform and Detective pathways, and the programmes will be named as follows:
The eligibility criteria remain the same, You don't need a degree to join us, but we do require a minimum standard of education. However, the role and course content differ between the pathways.
PCEP (regardless of pathway) is the only current entry route offered by Humberside Police. If you’re interested in other entry routes available to police forces, please visit College of Policing.

You will be a Student Officer from your first day of joining us and will spend two years following a work-based training programme. The programme integrates your training and the achievement of Operational Competence. You’ll cover all required learning required for the role of Police Constable (Detective Pathway Candidates will receive additional investigative training to specialise as a Detective Constable).
