We are proud to launch My Police Portal, an innovative online service designed to keep our communities better informed with improved communication.
Through My Police Portal, victims of crime can:
- Stay up to date on the progress of their investigation
- Communicate directly with the officer in charge of their case
- Share further details securely and ask questions without needing to call 101
While you may be a victim of these crimes, eligibility for a My Police Portal account is subject to additional criteria. For example, victims of domestic abuse are not eligible for an account.

Who Can Use My Police Portal?
To sign up, you’ll need to:
- Be aged 16 or over
- Provide a valid mobile number (email is no longer required)
- Have reported one of the listed crimes
How It Works
Once you report a crime, you will automatically receive a text message with instructions on how to register and access the portal. From there, you can log in anytime to follow your case and stay in touch with your investigating officer.
Important: From now on, you only need your occurrence number to access the portal your email address is no longer required.
