NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE
Uniform and plain clothed officers from our Scunthorpe Neighbourhood Policing team have been out and about in Scunthorpe town centre alongside partners from With You Lincs, and passive drugs dog Elsa, to conduct high visibility patrols, engage with the local community and conduct several stop and searches.

Thanks to Elsa’s super nose:
Days of action like this are nothing new for our local policing officers, and it forms part of daily business for our teams. However, having set days of action each month allows for additional resources and the funding to put proactive, problem-solving policing into practice in the right areas at the right times.
And, more importantly, we get to work even more closely with partner agencies such as With You Lincs who provide free and confidential support to adults and young people facing challenges with drugs, alcohol and mental health.
When you see our officers out and about, make sure you come and say hello and if you have any concerns about crime in your area, please do report it.
You can also report online, or via our non-emergency number 101. Always call 999 in an emergency or if a crime is ongoing.
Alternatively, to report anonymously you can do so via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
