NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE
Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and Neighbourhood Beat Officers from the Barton, Winterton and Ferry wards in Scunthorpe conducted a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant with the assistance of our Kinetic Intervention Team at a property on Cemetery Road in Winterton this morning (Monday, 8 September).
Upon entering the address, officers conducted a search discovering a room where the electricity is believed to have been abstracted dangerously.
Following the warrant, PCSOs conducted house to house and Humber Talking in the area to provide reassurance and update local residents on why they were in the area and answer any questions they may have.
Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances around the discovery, and we would always encourage members of the public to speak to our local policing teams when you see them out and about, and if you suspect drugs crime is happening in your area.
Your information is crucial in helping our Neighbourhood Policing Teams build the bigger picture around concerns of crime in your area, allowing them to pull in the help from different departments across our force to really make a difference.
