NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE
As part of our #SaferStreetsSummer campaign we’re shining a spotlight on the vital role our neighbourhood policing teams play in addressing local issues to help make our communities a safer place to live.
As well as acting on reported crime, a big part of what our neighbourhood policing teams do is to take a proactive approach by working with local authorities, partner organisations and residents within the community to identify concerns in the area and prevent criminal activity before it happens.
Our dedicated teams work relentlessly and are committed to targeting antisocial behaviour head on through initiatives such as Op Yellowfin, Op Agility, Op Mandala and Op Mastery. All which feature dedicated days of action to preventing antisocial behaviour across North East Lincolnshire.
Whilst no two days are the same in policing, we joined PC Tritton and PC Mosley on a shift, to get a first-hand look of what a typical day in the life of a Neighbourhood Policing Offer in Grimsby can involve.
