NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE
Two men have been arrested after officers from our Barton Neighbourhood Policing team and Scunthorpe Criminal Investigation Department conducted numerous lines of enquiries into reports of a series of commercial burglaries on George Street in Barton, Scunthorpe between Friday, 25 July and Saturday, 9 August.
It is reported during the early hours of the morning on three separate occasions, two people are believed to have forced entry into a business premises causing damage to cabinets before allegedly making off with items without paying.
Following multiple lines of enquiry, a 30-year-old man and 45-year-old man have both been identified and subsequently arrested on suspicion of three counts of burglary.
The 45-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of attempting to possess class B drugs, and both men have since been released on conditional bail pending further investigation at this time.
