Details of contracts currently being tendered

Tender opportunities are advertised on the Bluelight Emergency Services Procurement Electronic Tendering System.  Registration is free.

Once registered it will be possible to view and express interest in tender opportunities from Yorkshire and The Humber forces as well as those from other participating organisations. When registering, you are encouraged to upload relevant documentation about your organisation, for example health and safety policy, financial accounts, equal opportunities and diversity policies.

We make use of collaborative arrangements/contracts by joining with other PCCs and other public sector organisations to contract for a range of goods and services.  These contract opportunities are advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), when appropriate, by the contracting authority leading the procurement process.  

List and value of contracts

In compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, we have made available a list of awarded contracts.   Details currently include the name of contract, lead organisation, the value, the supplier and the start and end date of the contract.  New agreements entered on the register will have a copy of the contract documentation attached, with the exception of information which is commercially sensitive and/or exempt from publication under the Freedom of Information Act.  This list is updated on a regular basis as and when contracts are awarded, extended or expire.  See the Bluelight Procurement current contracts page and select the force you wish to view from the organisation menu. 

Large public sector procurement bodies join forces to support suppliers

The UK’s largest public sector buying organisation, YPO, is partnering with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Yorkshire and Humber Police Forces to host monthly procurement meetings with suppliers to the public sector.
