It is alleged that PS Hemstock breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in that:
On 7th August 2026, at Hull Crown Court, PS Hemstock pleaded guilty to the offence of Misconduct in a Public Office between 31st October 2024 and 12th December 2024.
The above conduct breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Discreditable Conduct and amounts to gross misconduct.
Members of the public (including accredited members of the media) may observe the hearing from Priory Road Police Station, Hull, HU5 5SF.
The registration facility will close on 9am on Wednesday 7th October 2026.
A confirmation email will be sent to successful applicants by 4pm on Wednesday 7th October 2026
Any person attending to observe the hearing must be in possession of valid photographic identification upon arrival and must produce it upon request. Failure to do so will lead to entry being declined.
The taking of photographs and the use of film or sound recording equipment during the hearing is prohibited, save for official use, and attendees may be searched prior to entry to the hearing. Other restrictions may apply at the discretion of the person chairing the hearing.
Refreshments will not be available other than water. There are a range of shops within walking distance. If you have any access or other requirements, please indicate this on your application.
