I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 about arrests made in your PFA, by nationality and offence type within your jurisdiction. Specifically, I am seeking data on incidents reported from the year to June 2024:
Please provide the number of arrests for the following nationality groups: UK/Ireland; EEA; Non-EEA.
In addition to providing a figure for all types of offence, please provide figures for the following categories, if possible: violence; theft; robbery; drugs; sexual offences; fraud; other.
Please provide this information for the year to June 2024.
You further requested: would it be possible to provide figures for individual nationalities (rather than UK/Ireland; EEA; non-EEA, as originally requested)? This is to avoid inconsistencies with the information provided by other police forces. If you cannot provide info for each individual nationality, UK, Ireland, EEA, and non-EEA would also work.
Finally, if somebody has dual nationality where one nationality is UK, please either note this or include them in the UK category.
The Freedom of Information Act requires that this request is dealt with in a manner that is motive and applicant blind. A disclosure under this legislation is considered a disclosure to the world and is considered to be on the basis that it is in the public interest.
Following liaison with relevant departments, Humberside Police can confirm we do hold the information you requested.
