Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:

The number of alleged-crime reports linked to Roblox that were sent to the force each year for the past decade. Please could you let me know which ages were affected and what crimes were alleged.

Response:

Humberside Police can confirm we do the information you requested. A keyword search has been conducted for ‘Roblox’ within the MO field for all crime in the period. Please note, although ‘Roblox’ is mentioned in the MO field, it may not necessarily directly relate to the offence. Furthermore, if there are offences which are linked to Roblox, but it is not mentioned in the MO field, it is not counted in the below. Therefore, please treat these figures with some caution.

Please note that police forces in the United Kingdom are routinely required to provide information and statistics to government bodies and the recording criteria is set nationally. However, the systems used for recording these figures are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the data. It should be noted that for these reasons this force’s response to your questions should not be used for the comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
