Farm Watch is the police alert service that aims to spot and prevent rural crime.
The free scheme sends members a message about criminal activity and advice, tailored to their area.
This means people living in rural areas can tap into police information that helps protect you and your property from criminals.
For example, if a suspicious vehicle is spotted near a farm and reported on 101, a message can be sent out to all farms in that area, urging them to be vigilant and check their property is safe.
Members can also talk directly to the police, to give updates on problems in their area.

To become a member of the scheme in the East Riding of Yorkshire, email our Rural Task Force team. We will then get in contact to discuss your request and submit it to the relevant Farm Watch group covering your area.
