East Riding of Yorkshire

We’re issuing another warning about sneak-in burglaries following an incident in Anlaby Common where a suspect took advantage of an unlocked door to carry out a burglary.

It happened at a house on Nunburnholme Park on Sunday 14 April.

A man came into the property around 3.30am and took a black River Island handbag containing a purse, bank cards, expensive make-up, a Pandora necklace, and an ID badge.

The woman who was in the house woke up and scared the man off before he could take anything else.

He's been described as white, 5 feet 11, of medium build, with red cheeks with wrinkles and veins on his face. He had slight stubble and blue eyes.

He was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat with blonde or light brown hair poking out, all dark clothing and a rain coat with a hood.
