Valuable coins stolen from Grimsby man's house

North East Lincolnshire

9 Jan 2019

Eight gold sovereign coins and a wallet containing cash and bank cards have been stolen from an 80-year-old man's house in Grimsby.

The items went missing from the man's house on Hope Street sometime between Tuesday 1 and Saturday 5 January.

It's thought that a visitor who may be known to the victim could have taken the coins and wallet.

There are no photos available of the coins which were kept in a plastic tube.
