Police appeal for information following RTC in Scunthorpe

Officers investigating a collision in Scunthorpe yesterday (Saturday 12 June) are appealing for information.

At around 4:11pm, a black Kia Sportage was travelling on Ferry Road towards Henderson Road when it was in collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a three-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital via ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the Kia remained at the scene and is assisting officers in their enquiries.

Officers are now asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have information or dashcam footage to contact us by calling 101 quoting log 444 of 12 June.
