On Sunday afternoon one of our PCSOs was out near Stroud Crescent East in Bransholme.

There have been a number of concerns from local residents about youths riding mopeds and behaving anti-socially.

When the PCSO spotted three men riding trial bikes on the grass near Stroud Crescent and approached them to try and speak to them about their behaviour.  One of the riders rode directly at the PCSO, the other two then followed his lead, they then started to deliberately flick mud at the officer.

Police Sergeant Rachel Brocklesby said, “This is totally unacceptable. PCSOs work in our community with people to make a difference.  They don’t deserve to be intimidated or to fear they will get hurt while they are at work.

“I want the biking community to come together and name those responsible, someone knows who did this. If you know anything please call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 407 7/4/19 or anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800 555 111”.  Quoting #OpYellowFin.
