Fatal motorcycle collision on A63

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision last night (Saturday 13 April) on the A63 where a man has sadly died.

At around 8.15pm, a 56-year-old man was riding a Triumph Bonneville America 865 motorcycle along the A63 in the direction towards Hull.

Directly under the Humber Bridge, the man is believed to have lost control and the motorcycle has then been in collision with the central reservation.

The man suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision. His family have been informed.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have been travelling on the A63 around the same time and close to the Humber Bridge to please come forward with any information.
