Do you recognise these men?
Our teams investigating an armed robbery at a Grimsby pharmacy want to hear from anyone who thinks they may be able to help us identify them.
We were called to the premises in Chelmsford Avenue at 5.30pm on Tuesday, January 15 following reports that two men – one of which was carrying a gun – had gone into the shop and demanded drugs and cash.
Last week three men, aged 39, 39 and 50, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released pending further enquiries. A replica firearm was also recovered by officers in the area.
Detective Sergeant Ian Potter said: “Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who has been in touch with information in response to our appeal.
“Your information was vital in helping us to track down the three suspects and recover the gun.
“The investigation is still ongoing and we’re now looking for help in identifying two men who were captured on CCTV.
“Luckily incidents like this are very rare and no one was injured – though the staff were left very shaken.
“We believe this was a targeted attack, with the aim of stealing controlled drugs and we don’t believe there was any risk to the wider public.
“If you do have any concerns, or you have information that you think could assist our investigation, please get in touch.”
If you can help, please call our non-emergency 101 line or speak to your local officer, quoting incident number 16/15225/19. If you’d rather remain anonymous, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
