Anti Social Behaviour - West Park New lighting has now been installed to enhance security and create a safer environment. We have identified a number of youths as responsible for causing anti social behaviour within the park. This has been followed up with visits to their home address or referrals submitted to local partners for additional support or sanction. Community youth groups are attending the park on a weekly basis to engage and provide activities for the youths and divert from criminal behaviour. At the start of the year there was an issue with small fires within the park. Over recent months this has subsided. Calls for service regarding fires and anti social behaviour have significantly decreased. #yousaidwedid |
Nuisance Vehicles on Wiltshire Road Car Park Due to an increased number of calls regarding nuisance motor vehicles on Wiltshire Road car park we have increased regular patrols on the car park to deter activity. We have engaged with groups and given appropraite warning advice regarding use of the car park. We have utilsed the Police Reform Act for those identified as responsilbe for using a vehicle in an anti social way. We are also working with key partners to long term solve the issue. |
