What's Happening In Your Area?

Details

Cycling on the footpath

Main areas for concern are Bricknell Avenue, Cottingham Road and Chanterlands Avenue North.  Targeted patrolling continues to deal with this issue.  As part of the Safer Schools Project, education has been provided to pupils at Kelvin Hall school to deter this type of activity.  An initiative has taken place in the Chanterlands Avenue North area as a result of residents concerns, aimed at reducing offending and educating the public.

Anti Social Behaviour Cropton Park

This area continues to be subject of targeted patrols.  Engagement activities take place with the local community and park users to monitor the level of anti social behaviour and assist our targeted response.  There is regular liaison with partner agencies and a referral has been made for youth outreach workers to engage with the youths concerned.
