What's Happening In Your Area?

Details

Cycling on the footpath

Main areas for concern are Bricknell Avenue, Cottingham Road and Chanterlands Avenue North.  Targeted patrolling continues to deal with this issue.  As part of the Safer Schools Project, education has been provided to pupils at Kelvin Hall school to deter this type of activity.  An initiative has taken place in the Chanterlands Avenue North area as a result of residents concerns, aimed at reducing offending and educating the public.

Officers continue to stop and challenge those people riding on the footpath especially in the vicinity of Kelvin Hall School.  Further to this we have held a day of action outside the school and stopped every student caught riding on the footpath at home time. We will continue to stop and challenge those committing offences.

Anti Social Behaviour Cropton Park

The park is patrolled regularly by officers from the neighbourhood team.

We are aware that has been a series of fires and an increase in antisocial behaviour and as a result we have been doing joint visits with members of the Neighbourhood Nuisance Team from Hull City Council.

A number of young people have been stopped.  Some have been searched and dealt with if required.
