Hull: Any other victims are urged to call 101

We are appealing to trace further victims after vulnerable victims have been targeted by a bogus caller in Hull.

In at least two incidents a woman has approached homes of elderly and vulnerable people, before claiming to be a housing officers or carer to gain entry to their homes.  Once inside the offender has then tricked the victim to hand over money.

Doing so will mean your valuables are more likely to be returned if lost or stolen, as well as potentially catching a criminal in possession of stolen goods.

Hull: Morgan will go on trial at Hull Crown Court next year

A Hull man charged with seven counts of burglary is due to go on trial before Hull Crown Court on Wednesday, January 4.

Danny Morgan, 40, of Dorado Close, is further charged with possession of heroin.

Following an initial appearance before Hull and Holderness Magistrates Court on December 1, he has been remanded in custody pending his trial at Hull Crown Court.

Hull: Anyone with information should call 101.

Police are appealing for information after an alleged robbery in Pearson Park, Hull at around 10.25am yesterday (Monday 17 October 2016).

A 20-year-old man was walking through the park when he was approached by an unknown man who threatened him and demanded money.

Fearing for his safety the victim handed over the cash.

Police in Hull are stepping up dedicated preventative patrols in student areas in a bid to raise awareness in sneak-in burglaries and home security as part of plans developed for the arrival of students returning to rented accommodation around the University and Newland Wards of Hull.

Hull: One officer injured making the arrests

Humberside Police were called at 2.37am today (Thursday 29 September) reporting a break-in at a commercial premises on Beverley Road, Hull.

Two officer attended and three men attempted to flee the building.

Two of the men (aged 33 & 35) were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in police custody.

Hull: If anyone can assist police identify those responsible they are urged to call 101.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after stickers that were designed to cause racial harassment and alarm were stuck to lampposts on Needlers Way and Sculcoates Lane in Hull between midnight on Sunday 14 August and 11am on Monday 15 August.

The stickers have subsequently been removed to prevent distress to the public.

Beverley: Appeal for witnesses

A cyclist suffered serious injuries after being in collision with a vehicle in Beverley.

The incident happened at the junction of School Lane and Walkergate at around 5.15pm on Saturday, August 6 and involved a red Audi A3 and a silver pushbike.

The 50-year-old woman was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where she continues to be treated.
