We have been proudly serving the people of Northern Lincolnshire, Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire since 1974. We cover a very diverse area that stretches from as far north as Bridlington, across to the Isle of Axholme, and down to the outskirts of Grimsby, where it changes to Lincolnshire Police.
Policing has changed greatly over the years. Today, our officers are equipped with mobile phones and laptops, and are more likely to be seen working from a high street café or the inside of their car than a police station. We use social media to provide information and post requests for your help, and our website is becoming increasingly important in the way we communicate.
Our cars, equipment and technology have changed greatly over the years but our commitment to you remains the same.
Working together we can help to create safe and strong communities, where people know how to protect themselves and are able to make informed decisions.
Humberside Police may work with different groups and organisations in the interests of staff support and development, community engagement and effective policing. However, this does not mean Humberside Police support or endorse the political beliefs or opinions of such groups and/or organisations.
