Online Safety & Security - Advice for Businesses

Cybercrime and online fraud against businesses is highly prevalent, and can hit firms hard. This page contains a range of resources to help keep businesses safer and more secure.

Cyber Security information Sharing Partnerships (CiSP) for business

The Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership (CiSP) is a joint industry and government initiative set up to allow UK organisations to share cyber threat information in a secure and confidential environment. Each region has its own section and it is free to join - go to www.ncsc.gov.uk/cisp for more information about CiSP and its Yorkshire Humberside group.

Retail crime partnerships and online shop security services

Retail businesses can join forces with similar local shops to create retail crime partnerships, working together to make businesses safer. If you'd like help setting up a new group, contact your local Humberside Police beat team. (Use the postcode search on our 'Find My Policing Team' page to identify your local team.)

Information sharing between retailers and local authorities is important in reducing criminality and there are a number of online services available to help. One of the best known is Shopwatch (now part of Schemelink).
