Two motorbikes were stolen from the rear of a pick-up truck by a gang of four men.

The theft happened at around 8.30am on Saturday, August 1, as the victim and his young son

Drove along Greenland Lane, East Cowick.

Their black Mitsubishi Animal was overtaken by a black Ford Mondeo – which was not displaying a rear number plate. The car stopped and four men got out.

One approached the victim, grabbed him by his clothing and demanded the motorbikes. They were removed from the vehicle by the other three men.

Two then rode them away in the direction of the A614, followed by the other two men in the Mondeo.

The bikes, pictured below, are described a Gas Gas EC 250 and a Gas Gas EC 300.

The first suspect was said to be white, 5ft 10” tall, of slim build and aged 25 to 33.

The second was also white, 5ft 8” tall and of slim build. The remaining suspects were also 5ft 8” tall. One was said to be slim and the second of large build.
