Hibaldstow: Three men arrested in connection with incident

Two men have suffered life threatening injuries following a two vehicle collision in Manton Lane, Hibaldstow this morning.

The incident, which involved a red Vauxhall Breeze and a silver Mercedes C200 happened at 4.13am today.

A 43-year-old Gainsborough man was freed from his vehicle by the fire service and taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by ambulance, where he is being treated for life threatening injuries and remains in a serious condition.

Three men from the Kent area, who were travelling the Mercedes, have all been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and money laundering.

The 21-year-old front seat passenger suffered potentially life threatening injuries and the 24-year-old rear seat passenger sustained serious injuries.

The driver sustained minor injuries.

They were all taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital.

The road was reopened at 9.37am.
