A 17-year-old man was pushed into the path of a car as he walked along Bridge Road, Brigg, between 2.30 and 3.30pm on Saturday, June 6.
The victim was walking away from a petrol station with a group of three friends when he was hit on the back of the head by a man who was known to him.
The attacker is then alleged to have punched him multiple times, before pushing him into the road, into the path of a dark coloured car.
Humberside Police are keen to speak to the driver of the car, who managed to stop before hitting the man.
The victim was treated at Scunthorpe Hospital for a bloody nose, lumps to the head and bruising and has since been discharged.
Anyone who witnessed the incident – particularly the driver of the car – is asked to call Humberside Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 2117887.
