Residents have been warned to be vigilant about home security after a thief snuck into an unlocked home as the occupant slept upstairs.
The burglary happened at a detached property in Lichfield Close, Beverley, at 12.30am on Tuesday June 2.
The 25-year-old victim awoke the next day to discover a black trolley-style bag, containing a HP laptop, brown leather wallet, credit and debit cards, £40 cash and business cards had been stolen.
The thief had also used keys found in the house to get into a car parked outside, taking a sat nav, Bluetooth ear piece and iPhone cabling.
Witnesses – or anyone offered the items for sale - are asked to call Humberside Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 2117100.
