Public Announcement of Misconduct Hearing

A misconduct hearing has been scheduled to take place on 14 and 15 March 2018, starting at 10am.
The officer concerned is PC 858 Neil Giles.
It is alleged that his conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of confidentiality, orders and instructions, duties and responsibilities and discreditable conduct contrary to police (conduct) Regulations 2012. The allegations relate to accessing police systems for a non-policing purpose, using the funds of a club for his own purpose and possessing a master interview tape when there was no reason for doing so.
The proceedings will take place at Goole Police Station, Estcourt Terrace, Goole, DN14 5AF.

Please note we cannot permit filming or recording of the proceedings, and attendees may be searched prior to entry to the hearing. They will also be asked to provide valid photographic identification such as a passport or driving licence. 
There are limited parking spaces and refreshments will not be available other than beverages.   There are a range of shops within walking distance.  If you have any access or other requirements, please indicate this on your application.  
Other restrictions may apply at the discretion of the person chairing or conducting the misconduct hearing.
