88 year-old cyclist seriously injured in collision

Bridlington: Driver failed to stop following collision with cyclist - do you know something that could help us find the driver?

16 Jan 2018

We are appealing for witnesses to a collision that happened at around 11.15am today (Tuesday 16 January) on Queensgate at the roundabout junction of St Chad Road in Bridlington.

An 88 year-old man suffered serious and potentially life-threatening injuries in the collision when he was knocked from his cycle by a car.  The driver of the car failed to stop following the collision, and has yet to be identified.

Are you able to help us?  Did you see the collision this morning or see a red vehicle in the vicinity of the incident this morning?  Witnesses reported the car to be a red Citroen Picasso but we have not confirmed that this is the case and we are appealing for anyone who may have information that would help us identify the vehicle and the driver to call us.

If you are able to help please call us on 101 quoting log 171 16/01/18.
