Hull: Appeal for witnesses

Can you help us to trace two men who stole a charity box from a Hull Post Office?

The incident happened at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, June 7, when a man came into Newland Avenue Post Office and asked for a form.

Once other customers left the shop, he grabbed the charity box from the counter and ran off towards Lambert Street.

Hull: Did you see the incident in Cottingham Road?

We’re appealing for your help in tracing a man who is said to have racially abused and threatened four men in Cottingham Road, Hull.

The incident happened close to the university at around 5.30pm on Thursday, March 9, when four men of Asian appearance were targeted by another man.

Hull: Any other victims are urged to call 101

We are appealing to trace further victims after vulnerable victims have been targeted by a bogus caller in Hull.

In at least two incidents a woman has approached homes of elderly and vulnerable people, before claiming to be a housing officers or carer to gain entry to their homes.  Once inside the offender has then tricked the victim to hand over money.

Hull: Morgan will go on trial at Hull Crown Court next year

A Hull man charged with seven counts of burglary is due to go on trial before Hull Crown Court on Wednesday, January 4.

Danny Morgan, 40, of Dorado Close, is further charged with possession of heroin.

Following an initial appearance before Hull and Holderness Magistrates Court on December 1, he has been remanded in custody pending his trial at Hull Crown Court.

Were you in Pearson Park at around 10.20am on Monday, October 17?

If so, you may be able to help us trace a robber who is said to have threatened his victim with a bladed weapon before taking his cash.

The victim accidently removed the money from his coat pocket as he pulled out a drink, at which point the offender threatened him and took the cash.

Police are appealing for information after an alleged robbery in Pearson Park, Hull at around 10.25am yesterday (Monday 17 October 2016).

A 20-year-old man was walking through the park when he was approached by an unknown man who threatened him and demanded money.

Fearing for his safety the victim handed over the cash.

Hull: Springbank graffiiti suspect due in court

A 23-year-old Willerby man has been charged with nine counts of racially aggravated criminal damage after a number of premises in Springbank, Hull, were targeted with far-right graffiti on August 14.

Luke Stonehouse, of Hawthorne Avenue, has been bailed to appear before Hull and Holderness Magistrates Court on October 6.

It's a chance to meet your local officers, tell them about crime and antisocial behaviour in your area and get crime prevention advice.

You can also have a say in what your local police and other agencies focus on in your area at Priority Setting Meetings. Any member of the community can go along and talk to local officers and PCSO's, council workers and people from Fire and Rescue about issues you face. What you say at these meetings will help the policing teams decide how they should focus their resources in your area. If you think we're getting it right or wrong at the moment, come along and have your say.
