Hessle: Appeal to trace lady who went to aid of 85-year-old

Were you at Hessle Grange Medical Centre at around 10am on Wednesday, August 25?

Officers investigating how an elderly woman came to suffer a head injury at the exit barrier of the car park are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time – particularly this woman, who stopped to help the 85-year-old.

Hull: Did you witness attack?

Independent witnesses are being sought after a man was assaulted in Hessle Road, Hull.

The incident happened at around 10.55am, on Wednesday, August 24, close to the junction of Coltman Street.

The 20-year-old victim was approached from behind by two men and a woman, said to be in their 40s, one of which made a comment towards him.

Do you recognise this man?

At 7pm on Thursday January 14, 2016 a man was challenged by a shop worker in the Co-Op supermarket in Hessle Square after concealing a bottle of Vodka in his pocket. The shop worker retrieved the bottle from the man and in doing so, the suspect allegedly punched the shop worker in the face.

The shop worker sustained swelling and reddening to his face.

Do You Recognise These Men

At 5.20pm on Thursday November 26, 2015 a woman was withdrawing £200 from a cash machine at the rear of the Hessle Co-Operative Shop in the shops car park, when she was allegedly robbed of her money.

The victim tried to hold on to her cash, but after a small struggle was overpowered and the offender made off with her money on a white bike.

Domestic Abuse: Speak Out, We Will Listen

Would it surprise you to know on average a victim will encounter 35 abusive incidents before they consider reporting it to the police?

Key Information

There are plenty of opportunities for you to meet your local officers and talk to them about problems you're worried about. You can pop along to Police Surgeries, which are informal drop-in sessions at well visited places in the community. It's a chance to meet your local officers, tell them about crime and antisocial behaviour in your area and get crime prevention advice.

You can also have a say in what your local police and other agencies focus on in your area at Priority Setting Meetings. Any member of the community can go along and talk to local officers and PCSO's, council workers and people from Fire and Rescue about issues you face. What you say at these meetings will help the policing teams decide how they should focus their resources in your area. If you think we're getting it right or wrong at the moment, come along and have your say.
