Four men have been arrested as a result of raids our teams have carried out in Beverley this morning.

Misuse of drugs warrants were executed at six properties in the town – two in Schofield Avenue, two in Coltman Avenue, one in Wharton Avenue and one at a unit on Beverley Business Park.

A Goole man has been charged with burglary, shop theft and drugs offences following a break-in at a house in Sothoron Street on Sunday, October 14.

Detective Inspector John Symes said: “Nicholas Broadley, 37, of Lime Tree Avenue, Goole, is also charged with stealing chocolate from a Goole supermarket on Saturday, October 13 and possession of heroin.”

A man has been charged with two robberies following attacks on women in Hull earlier this year.

The first incident happened on Monday, June 25, in West Carr Lane, Sutton Fields, when a woman had her handbag stolen.

The second was on Thursday, July 5, in the area of May Tree Avenue and James Reckitt Avenue, when another woman had her handbag snatched.

Terry Walker, 35, of Peaksfield Avenue, Grimsby, was remanded to appear before Grimsby Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday, October 11).

A 32-year-old Hull man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of Class B drugs following a break-in at a house in Victoria Dock, Hull, this morning. (Friday, October 12)

We were called to Plimsol Way at shortly before 3.45am, after the occupants were woken by a loud noise and found two men in the house – who fled the area on pushbikes.

David Heeds, 33, of Haslemere Avenue, Bridlington, and Rose Lee, 31, of no fixed abode, are both charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.

A Grimsby teenager has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a moped and driving under the influence of drugs.

The 17-year-old was arrested after two boys were spotted riding a black Honda moped in Park Drive by officers in an unmarked police car at around 3.10am on Sunday. October 7.

The children of 61-year-old murder victim Tamara Sinakova have issued a heartfelt tribute to their mother as the man convicted of her murder, Rojs Avaliani, has today been sentenced to life imprisonment, to serve a minimum of 17-years behind bars.

A man and a woman have been arrested following an alleged assault on a 69-year-old man in his home in Bridlington.

The incident happened on Sands Lane around midnight last night. The victim suffered injuries to his head, face and arm.

Officers were quickly at the address and managed to arrest the pair within half an hour.

Our proactive team executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the property and seized the class C drugs and around £2,500.

A Goole woman has been charged with an arson attack on a café in Boothferry Road, Goole, on Monday.

DC Christopher Stapleton, who led the investigation, said: “Tracey Woodward, 42, of Morley Street, Goole, is also charged with harassment of two people at the premises between August 1 and October 2.

“She was remanded in custody to appear before Hull Crown Court on November 2.”

A 52-year-old man has been ordered to pay back more than £125,000 of his own money and belongings.

Jacob Robert Smith of Alexandra Street in Thorne, South Yorkshire pleaded guilty to two counts of mortgage fraud and one count of money laundering back in June last year. He was sentenced to 27 months in prison.

While neither can be named for legal reasons, one of the 17-year-olds has been ordered to pay £280 compensation and £85 court costs after admitting criminal damage.

Patryk Nowosad (36) of no fixed abode was arrested in York following our appeal last week for help to identify a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a book makers on Anlaby Road in Hull.

Patryk Nowosad was charged and remanded in custody, he appeared at Magistrates Court today.

This afternoon our officers have executed a drugs warrant at a house on Newbury Avenue in Great Coates, Grimsby.

They found hundreds of live Cannabis plants and drugs growing equipment.  The electricity supplier had responded to a neighbour’s call about problems with their electricity supply and the smell of burning.
