Another vulnerable person in Hull has become a victim rogue traders and had a significant amount of money taken from them.

Please be aware that rogue traders and scammers are active in the area.  If you have any information that would help us prevent further victims then please call us on 101.

Goole: Witness and information appeal

A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault in Goole on 14 April 2018.

It was reported that an altercation took place around midnight on Aire Street between two men. One of the men fell backwards and hit his head. He’s still in hospital with head injuries. 

The suspect has been released under investigation.

Grimsby: Three separate incidents in the town

A 40-year-old man has been charged with two counts of robbery and one of attempted robbery following a number of incidents in Grimsby. 

Dominic Larder from Hainton Avenue in Grimsby faces the charges in relation to three incidents where handbags were grabbed from women.

Grimsby: Violence and disorder won't be tolerated

A so-called Grimsby Town “fan” has been handed a five year banning order after admitting to being involved in disorder around the Mariner’s clash with Notts County in December last year.

Kevin Ashworth, 44, of Hainton Avenue, Grimsby, was arrested in London Road, Nottingham, on December 16 and later admitted to a section five public order offence.

Grimsby: Appeal to find suspect

A 12-year-old boy has been injured during an attempted robbery on Guildford Street in Grimsby.

The boy was approached at around 7.30pm on 22 April by a man who allegedly threatened him and tried to take his mobile phone off him. During the incident the victim sustained injuries to his hand. He later went to hospital for treatment.

Grimsby: Daniel Woodroffe due in court today

A Grimsby man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Guildford Street on April 7.

Daniel Woodroffe, 26, of Eleanor Street, Grimsby, has been remanded to appear before Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates Court this morning, after handing himself in.

He is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Hull: Group convicted of firearms and drugs charges

Five men are facing what are expected to be significant jail sentences for drugs and firearms offences following a large scale covert operation by our Serious and Organised Crime Unit.

On Friday at Hull Crown Court, Liam Windas, 27, of Rosedale Grove, Hull, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cannabis and conspiracy to supply heroin.

Cleethorpes: Man suffered life threatening injuries

A man is being treated for potentially life threatening injuries following a collision between two cars on Taylors Avenue, Cleethorpes, last night. (Friday, April 27)

Our teams are working to establish the circumstances of the crash and today we’re appealing for any witnesses, who have not yet spoken to us, to get in touch.

Bridlington: 16 year old boy injured

A 16-year-old boy was injured in a collision on St Anne’s Road, Bridlington. 

The incident happened at around 7.30am on Tuesday 25 April when a black coloured car collided with a bicycle. 

The boy, who was riding the bike at the time, suffered injuries to his back and was taken to hospital for treatment. 

The driver of the car failed to stop following the collision.

Bishop Burton: Do you have any information?

We want to speak to a driver who allegedly drove his car at another man in Bishop Burton.

It happened around 6.15am on 22 April 2018. The suspect had been driving erratically in front of the victim’s car on Cherry Burton Road.

Hull: Five charged

Five teenagers in north Hull have been charged with more than two dozen offences between them.

The offences range from breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order to assault, theft and burglary. Four of the boys cannot be named because of legal reasons but we can give their ages.

The charges are as follows:
