Goole: Appeal for information and for witnesses to an assault.

Police are investigating an assault of a 48 year-old man which took place outside his house on Westparkside in Goole shortly before 1am on Sunday May 17.

The man was assaulted in the open garage of his home when he returned home after a night out.  He was taken to hospital for treatment to a laceration on his head.

Driffield: Police appeal following suspected arson on St John’s Road.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspected case of arson to a caravan on St John’s Road in Driffield.  The fire completely destroyed a caravan and soon spread to cause damage to an adjoining house, shed and fencing.

No one was harmed in the incident which occurred at just after midnight this morning, May 26.

Cottingham: Appeal for witnesses and taxi driver to come forward

A 13-year-old girl suffered bruising and muscular injuries when she was in collision with a red taxi on the mini roundabout at the junction of Endyke Lane and New Village Road in Cottingham on Wednesday April 29 at approximately 6.15pm.

The taxi driver did initially stop to offer the girl assistance but did not leave his details and police are now trying to trace the him.

Walkington: Appeal for information as cyclist is found injured on a country road

Police are trying to establish the circumstances of how a cyclist came by his injuries when he was found laid in the road on the B1230 near Walkington.

Bridlington: Appeal for information and witnesses

Police are investigating an assault which took place on Bessingby Road at 9.30pm on Wednesday May 6.

A 58-year-old man Bridlington man suffered minor injuries to his head as he was punched repeatedly in the attack.  He was taken to Scarborough Hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Hedon: Investigators ask help in finding stolen property and to find those responsible.

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary which happened between 2pm and 4pm on May 1 on Church Lane in Hedon.  The home-owner was in the garden when intruder entered the home unnoticed through an unlocked door.

The intruder took a Michael Kors black handbag that contained Chanel sunglasses and a quantity of cash.

Willerby: Appeal for witnesses and to find those responsible

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary and damage of a property on Main Street in Willerby.

Intruders broke into the premises causing extensive damage to internal fittings.  A quantity of cash was also stolen from wall fitted machines. The incident took place between 2.30-3am on Tuesday May 12.

Leven: Appeal for witnesses

Emergency services attended a road traffic collision between a silver Fiat Punto and a Silver Vauxhall Astra at 10am yesterday, Sunday May 17.

The two vehicles were both travelling along the A1035 in the direction from Tickton towards the White Cross roundabout.  Following the collision both vehicles came to a stop on the roundabout.

Missing 84-year-old Hull man George Shutt has been found safe and well.

Hessle: Pursuit of car stolen in burglary leads to the arrest of two Hull men

Humberside Police were called at 10.40am this morning reporting a burglary in progress on Beech Grove in Hessle.

Officers were deployed immediately and the police helicopter lifted in support.

Shiptonthorpe: Appeal to find stolen property and catch intruder

Police are appealing to anyone who can help with their enquiries into a burglary which happened between 9pm on Tuesday April 28 and 5pm on Saturday May 2 on York Road in Shiptonthorpe.

The intruder(s) entered the house and stole two gold and one platinum sapphire and diamond rings and two diamond rings from a bedroom.
