Goole: Help Identify Thieves and Prevent Rural Crime

Humberside Police were called by a resident of Main Street in Gowdall, Goole after four sheep had been stolen from their farm and the owner subsequently found the skins discarded in the field on Saturday May 23.

Officers have made enquiries into this incident but as yet no suspect has been identified.

Kirton in Lindsey: Appeal for witnesses following crash on South Cliff Road

Police investigating a crash that resulted in a 60-year-old man suffering minor injuries are appealing witnesses to the collision to come forward to help with their enquiries.

Cleethorpes: Man injured in assault at junction

Police are investigating an assault which took place just after 7pm on May 22 on the corner of George Street and Richmond Road in Cleethorpes.

A 23-year-old man suffered superficial cuts to his chest in the incident from a bladed instrument used by the suspect who grabbed the victim from behind.

The victim defended himself and the suspect left the scene on a pedal cycle.

Grimsby: Help us catch the suspect

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery inside the men’s toilets at the McDonald’s restaurant on Victoria Street, Grimsby at around 10.55am on Monday May 25. A 16-year-old boy was in the toilets when an unknown man demanded he hand over his wallet before attempting to punch him. The boy managed to run off. The boy had no injuries and the wallet was not stolen.

Bilton: Appeal to find stolen bikes and identify those responsible

Humberside Police are investigating the burglary of a summerhouse on Dawney Road in Bilton.  Intruders broke into the garage at the rear of the house between 10pm May 20 and 5am May 21.  Two tandem bikes were stolen.  The bikes are described as a blue/green metallic tandem racing bike and a bright yellow tandem with black mudguards.

Market Weighton: Appeal for witnesses following serious collision involving a bus and a cyclist on Holme Road.

Emergency services attended to a road traffic collision between a red single decker bus and cyclist at 1pm yesterday, May 27.

The bus and cyclist were both travelling along Holme Road in the direction towards Market Weighton.

Bridlington: Criminal Damage to vehicle appeal to identify man

A man is alleged to have kicked out at a passing car and caused damage.  The incident happened on South Marine Drive at approximately 730pm on May 5 (the night of the Prodigy concert at Bridlington Spa).

The car was a yellow Ford Fiesta with a black and white chequered roof.

Grimsby: Appeal for witnesses and help to find those responsible

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary which happened at 5pm on May 27 on Pheonix Street, Grimsby.

An elderly woman was unlocking her front door when a man engaged her in conversation he then managed to slip past her as she put her walker away.  He entered her home and stole a wallet and purse which contained cash.

Goole: Appeal to find stolen bikes and identify those responsible.

Humberside Police are investigating the burglary of a garage on Woodland Avenue in Goole.  Intruders broke into the garage at the rear of the house between 10pm May 23 and 9am May 24.  Two trials bikes and a quantity of tools were stolen.  The bikes are described as a blue Sherco 125T, 2005 model and a red GasGas JTR250, 1996 model.

Withernsea: Appeal for witnesses as 78-year-old woman is a victim of attempted robbery and assault.

Police are investigating the attempted robbery and assault which took place taken place at around 1145pm yesterday May 26 as she walked home.

The attack happened at the rear of Kirkfield flats on Kirkfield Road.  The woman had walked along Princess Avenue, along Queens Street and through the snicket to Kirkfield Road.

Goole: Appeal for information and for witnesses to an assault.

Police are investigating an assault of a 48 year-old man which took place outside his house on Westparkside in Goole shortly before 1am on Sunday May 17.

The man was assaulted in the open garage of his home when he returned home after a night out.  He was taken to hospital for treatment to a laceration on his head.

Driffield: Police appeal following suspected arson on St John’s Road.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspected case of arson to a caravan on St John’s Road in Driffield.  The fire completely destroyed a caravan and soon spread to cause damage to an adjoining house, shed and fencing.

No one was harmed in the incident which occurred at just after midnight this morning, May 26.
