Distinctive items stolen from Country House – Can you help locate the stolen property?

Police are appealing for help to find those responsible for the theft of two glass bottles from the displays at Burton Constable Hall in the East Riding.

The theft occurred between 9am on June 16 and 4pm on June 22.

Morphine tablets lost in Barton or Ulceby

Members of the public are being urged to hand in a quantity of morphine tablets that were lost in either Barton or Ulceby some time between 11am and mid afternoon on Monday June 29.

The 60 30g MST Continus morphine sulphate tablets are in a purple and white box.

KNIFE BINS IN POLICE STATIONS - NO QUESTIONS ASKED

Humberside Police are backing a national campaign to encourage people to surrender their knives, in a bid to reduce unnecessary lives lost.

With two lives very recently lost in our force area, where bladed weapons were used, now is the time to hand over your knives and no questions will be asked.

Application to attend

A misconduct hearing will be held at Humberside Police Headquarters, Priory Road Police Station, Hull, HU5 5SF on Friday July 10 commencing at 10am.

A police constable will answer an allegation that their conduct amounts to the breach of the Standards of the Professional Behaviour for Use of Force and Discreditable Conduct, contrary to the Police (Conduct) regulations 2012.

Grimsby: Are you member of public who stepped in?

Police are keen to speak to a member of the public who intervened after a man was attacked as he walked along a Grimsby bridleway.

The 35-year-old victim was walking alone along the footpath between Brandale Walk and Greatcoates Road, Grimsby at approximately 7pm on Saturday June 27 when he was approached by a man who was known to him, who asked for a beer.

Two men have suffered life threatening injuries following a two vehicle collision in Manton Lane, Hibaldstow this morning.

The incident, which involved a red Vauxhall Breeze and a silver Mercedes C200 happened at 4.13am today.

Two men and a woman have been arrested following an aggravated burglary in Hull back in May 2015.

After extensive police investigations on June 19, 2015, a 53-year-old York man, a 22-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, both from Gilberdyke were all arrested during an early morning ‘wake up call’ from the police.

Hull & East Yorkshire: People urged not to fall foul of police telephone scam

The public are being urged to make their elderly parents, grandparents and neighbours aware of a national scam where criminals are pretending to be bogus police officers in order to steal from some of the most vulnerable people in society.

The appeal comes after a 68-year-old Hull woman fell foul of the scam and lost around £18,000 on Monday June 22.
