Scunthorpe: Can you help trace driver?

Officers are hunting a man who is said to have attempted to force a pregnant woman into a car in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 41-year-old woman was walking along Oswald Road at around 3am, when a man in a black saloon car slowed and asked if she was okay.

She replied she was, but he continued to follow her, repeating the question.

Beverley: 17-year-old girl indecently touched

As a 17-year-old girl was walking back from college on Wednesday July 8 in Beverley a man is alleged to have indecently touched her.

It is believed as the girl walked passed the Beverley Memorial Hall on Lairgate at 2.15pm, the man allegedly brushed passed the girl, cupping his hand over her backside and squeezing it, before walking off.

The girl was upset by this incident.

An off-duty taxi driver suffered a suspected broken nose in a road rage attack in Scunthorpe.

The incident happened between 3.40 and 3.50pm on Friday, July 10, as the driver headed towards Berkeley Circle roundabout, along Doncaster Road.

The offenders are believed to have cut the fencing around the DG Taylor Commercials Ltd compound near Driffield on Monday, July 6, returning during the night of Wednesday, July 8 and forcing their way into a building.

Hull: Police seek help looking for missing West Yorkshire man

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for information to trace a missing Leeds man who was last seen in Hull.

Paul Hegerty, aged 37, from Halton, was last seen on Saturday, July 4, at Hull train station.

He is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall, with unkempt dark brown hair and has missing teeth. He normally wears jogging bottoms.

A GRIMSBY man is due to go on trial later this month in relation to burglary and theft offences.

Brian Heasman, 35, of Weelsby Street, Grimsby, appeared before Grimsby Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday, July 8), where the case was committed to Grimsby Crown Court for trial.

Arrests follow incident in Cleethorpes

 Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary offences following an incident in Cleethorpes’ Bradford Avenue.

Officers were called at around 12.40am yesterday (Wednesday, July 8) when a neighbour spotted torches being shone in a nearby garden.

One male was immediately detained and the other was caught a short time later, after fleeing into neighbouring gardens.

No suspicious circumstances surrounding death of Hull man

Officers are keen to trace any known relatives of a Hull man who was sadly found dead at his home on Sunday, June 28.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Anthony Peter Dent, 38, of Denaby Court.

However, while officers have spoken to a number of his friends, they have not yet been able to trace his next of kin.

Officers investigating a case of indecent exposure are appealing for witnesses following a report of a man exposing himself and outraging public decency at the bus station at 9pm on July 7.

The man is described as white, 5’6” tall, of slim build, clean shaven with receding dark brown hair.

Westwoodside: Public reassured over incident

Investigations are continuing in relation to a violent disturbance in Westwoodside, Doncaster, yesterday afternoon (July 7).

Officers remain in the area today to reassure the community and enquiries are ongoing.

A 44-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in police custody.
