Humberside Police is to help provide Hate Crime Awareness Training as part of continued drive to highlight that Being You Is Not A Crime – But Targeting You Is.

Working in partnership with the Humber All Nations Alliance (HANA) and Hull City Council, the event will be open to the public, with the aim of spreading the word to as many people as possible.

Grimsby: Who was this man?

Police are concerned for the welfare of a man believed to have been injured in Grimsby earlier this week.

A member of the public contacted the force shortly after 7am on Tuesday October 20 to report that he had been approached by a man in the Corporation Road area who was asking for help.

Officers investigating the theft of a CCTV camera have released CCTV images of a suspect that they would like help in identifying.

A man arrived at a property on Boatswain Croft in Hull at 5.45am on Tuesday 14 October, he then pulled the CCTV camera from the wall of the property.

CCTV images of this man have been released previously however we would like to ask anyone who recognises him to contact us directly on 101 quoting crime reference 2144360.

South Killingholme: Did you know Ernie?

Efforts are being made to trace any relatives or close friends of a man who died earlier this month at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby.

Ernest Clarke, known as Ernie, of Mayflower Close in South Killingholme, died on October 3 at the age of 69.

Goole: DId you see arsonist?

Damage was caused to a take away on Carter Street in Goole after a fire was started in the premises.

Entry was forced to the rear of the address overnight between Saturday October 17 and Sunday October 18 and a fire was set which caused extensive smoke damage both to that property and also to neighbouring properties.

Hull: Did you witness a collision?

A 30-year-old man suffered injuries to his foot after being struck by a car as he crossed a road in Hull.

The incident happened on Spring Bank near to Collingwood Street at 2.15pm on Saturday October 17.

The injured man was walking across Spring Bank when he was in collision with a small, red vehicle travelling in the direction of the city centre.

Hull: Have you seen cycle for sale?

A mountain bike was stolen from a house in Victoria Avenue, Hull after the address was entered some time between 6pm on Tuesday October 13 and 12.30am the following day.

The Ridgeback Hardtail bike was originally light blue/grey in colour but had been re-sprayed dark blue.

Nothing else was taken from the address and there was no damage caused to the house.

Anlaby: Did you see anything suspicious?

Officers are hunting four masked men who stole a businessman’s takings as he and his wife arrived at an address in Beverley Road, Anlaby, at around midnight.

The gang – who all wore ski masks – assaulted the 44-year-old man as he removed the money from his vehicle and threatened the 43-year-old woman with a paving stone before taking her handbag.
