Humberside: The thoughts of the force are with his family and friends

Humberside Police can confirm that one of our officers sadly died in a road traffic collision in North Yorkshire whilst off duty on Friday October 2.

He was riding a motorcycle and was in collision with a second motorcyclist who was also fatally injured.

Grimsby: Can you help identify those responsible?

Witnesses are being sought after two 15-year-old girls were robbed as they walked through Grimsby’s Grant Thorald Park.

The incident happened between 9.45pm and 10.15pm on Friday, October 2.

The girls were approached by a group of three girls, aged between 16 and 18, who shouted abuse at them.

Scunthorpe: Four youths sought in connection with incident

Witnesses are being sought after four youths stole cash from a Scunthorpe bookmaker.

The incident happened at around 9.45pm on Thursday, October 1, at Betfred, Albert Mason Court.

A 39-year-old employee was left with bruises to his face after being assaulted by two of the youths, who demanded he hand over cash.

Representatives of the communities living in Humberside joined forces to say “We Stand Together” against extremism and intolerance of all forms.

The aim of the event, which is part of a national campaign, was to showcase the trust, integration and cohesion existing between them – as well as building on these bonds – to show a united front against hate and intolerance.

Willerby: Police investigate burglary and appeal for help to locate stolen property

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may be able to help with their enquiries into a burglary which happened at 730pm on Bromwich Road, Willerby.  An intruder entered the home unnoticed through a back patio door.

The intruder took an iPod, a black Samsung laptop and several DVDs and CDs

Epworth: Did you see anything suspicious?

Officers are investigating a suspected arson at a farm on Wroot Road, Epworth.
Police were called to the scene at around 9.10pm on Wednesday, September 30, following reports around 1,000 hay bales were alight.
Humberside Fire and Rescue attended the scene to bring the fire under control and believe it had been started deliberately.

Hedon: Did you see anything?

Witnesses are being sought to an assault on a man outside a Hedon pub.

The victim had been drinking in the Kings Head, Souttergate, on Sunday, September 27.

On leaving the pub at around 12.30am, he was punched in the face by an unknown man, which caused him to lose consciousness.

Hull: Officers are investigating incident in Bude Road Park

Officers are investigating following reports a man was seen committing an indecent act in a Hull Park.
The incident is said to have taken place between 5.40pm and 5.50pm, on Monday, September 28 in Bude Road Park.
The man is said to have fled after being confronted by the complainant.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting crime reference number 2141077.

Hornsea: Can you help identify those responsible?

Officers have renewed an appeal for witnesses to an assault in Hornsea which left a man with serious internal injuries.

The 52-year-old was assaulted by between 10 and 15 men in their 20s and 30s, as he and a friend walked home from the Floral Hall, at around 3am on Sunday, August 2.

Kirton Lindsey: Appeal for women to get in touch

Officers are keen to speak to two women who went to the aid of girls who believe they were followed by men in white vans.

Both incidents are said to have happened in Kirton Lindsey earlier this month.

The first was at around 9am on Thursday, September 17, as an 11-year-old walked along Grayingham Road, towards the school.
