Scunthorpe: Driver who sadly died is named

We are now in a position to release the name of a woman who sadly died in a road traffic collision on the A18 yesterday (31 May 2018).

Irene Casey-Evans, who was 66 and lived in Cleethorpes, died in the collision which happened at Barnetby Top yesterday around 8.45am.

Specialist officers are supporting her family.

Bridlington: Can you help?

A man has sustained injuries to his forehead in an alleged assault in Bridlington.

The incident is reported to have happened around 4.30pm on 31 May 2018 outside Costcutters on Trinity Road.

The victim was approached by another man who asked him for money. When he refused the suspect allegedly hit him causing a deep cut to his forehead. The victim required hospital treatment.

Bridlington: Victim distracted while handbag stolen

We’re looking for a man and a woman in connection with an alleged theft of a woman’s handbag and money in Bridlington. 

The incident happened around 1pm in the Morrisons supermarket on Bessingby Way on 20 May 2018.

Hull: Allegation against PC Mark Baird was found proven

PC Mark Baird has today been dismissed without notice after allegations he was verbally abusive and aggressive towards a Hull doorman were found proved at a misconduct hearing.

During the two day hearing, Mr Baird admitted that his actions during an off-duty night out in Newland Avenue on the night of Wednesday, November 8, last year did amount to gross misconduct.

An Efit of a man has been released who we want to speak with in connection with an alleged rape in Anlaby.

The incident was reported to have happened near to the leisure centre on Springfield Way on 16 June 2017. It was only reported to us recently.

Hull: Three suspects wanted

We’re looking for three men and a van in connection with a suspected burglary at a property on Moorhouse Road in Hull on 22 May. 

It’s thought a green Citroen Berlingo Combi was used to ram a garage door around 4pm. The men broke in and stole tools and a vacuum cleaner before driving off.

They’ve all been described as being dressed in dark clothing and balaclavas.

We have received reports of two men (aged 21 and 24) having been assaulted off Annandale Road in East Hull.  The men reported that they were set upon by up to 10 youths as they were heading home after a night out in Hull.

Hull: We’re looking for two men

A 22–year-old woman was allegedly robbed of the contents of her handbag while walking along Saltshouse Road in Hull on 19 May 2018.

The woman was approached from behind by two men around 10pm, pushed forward and had her handbag taken.

One of the men emptied the bag and stole car keys, house keys and a bank card before making off. The victim was shaken and upset but unhurt.

Brigg: She may be in Cambridgeshire

17-year-old Daisy-May Burton left her home in Brigg on Thursday evening - telling her family she was going to Grimsby - and hasn't been in touch with them since.
