Hull: How we are tackling drug dealing on streets

Six people have been arrested today in Hull city centre as our teams continue to tackle issues of drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.

One was released without charge but the other five remain in custody. Four were detained on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and one on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply.

Hearing will take place on June 14

A police special case misconduct hearing will be held from 9am on June 14, to hear the case of Temporary Sergeant Lee Robinson.

It is alleged that on April 3, 2018, he breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour set out in Regulation 3 and Schedule 2 of the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012 in respect of Discreditable Conduct in that:

Beverley: Fight on Saturday night on Thomspon Avenue led to one man suffering stab wounds and two men arrested.

Following an incident at around 11.40pm on Saturday 2 June on Thompson Avenue in Beverley where a 21 year-old man suffered knife wounds, two men were arrested.

After questioning two men were charged with multiple offences:

Scunthorpe: Two arrested

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident on Willoughby Road, Scunthorpe around 5pm on 3 June 2018.

A male victim reported that he’d been approached by the men, who were driving a black Citroen Picasso. He said he was threatened and assaulted, then had his motorbike stolen by them.

The motorbike was later recovered.

South Ferriby: Appeal for witnesses following serious crash

We are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a blue BMW and a 74 year-old man.  The collision happened shortly before 4pm yesterday, 4 June, near to the post-office on Sluice Road in South Ferriby.  The car is reported to have left the road and struck the pedestrian.

Dennis Greenwood died at his home on Arthur Street in Withernsea on 24 May.  We have not been able to trace his next of kin and are asking for your help.  We believe Dennis has a daughter in Keighley.

Hull: Thank you for sharing our appeal

39-year-old John Jeffries from Hull who has been missing since 31 May 2018 is now safe and well and back with his family.

Grimsby: Did you see what happened?

Did you see the driver of a car who jumped out of his vehicle and allegedly threatened a couple in Grimsby on 3 June 2018?

The incident is said to have happened around 11am as the couple walked along Pelham Road. The man is said to have got out of a black car – possibly a Citroen - grabbed hold of the woman then threatened them both.

Grimsby: Thanks to everyone who assisted us

A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in the carpark of a Grimsby supermarket on Friday night. (June 1)

Andrew Mayes, 36, of no fixed abode, is also charged with possession of a knife in a public place.

He is remanded to appear before Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates Court on Monday, June 4.

Can you help us identify a robber who left a woman with broken bones after he snatched her handbag?

The incident happened in Garrick Close, Hull, at around 10am yesterday (Friday, June 1), when a man on a bike came up behind her and grabbed her bag.
